Dustin & Erika : Married!

November 7, 2008

I had the great pleasure of photographing a wedding for two fabulous people a couple of weeks ago!  Every detail of this day was just gorgeous, from the amazing florals and decor designed by Kelly of A Perfect Bloom to the beautiful hand-made arbor built by the groom himself.  The ceremony and reception took place at The Red Apple Inn & country club in Heber Springs and the fall weather was just *perfection*!  Many thanks to Amber Minton, of A Party to Go Go, for her brilliant coordination of the days events.

Dustin and Erika, THANK YOU for choosing me to document your day.  I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of your family and friends and sharing in their joy for your union.  I know that the two of you are getting ready to leave for Belize, so I wanted to get this peek up for you before you leave!  Enjoy each other, the sun, the beach, the turquoise water and the lack of a schedule as you honeymoon!

It was so great to see how in love Erika’s parents are!  The emotion between the two of them was more than I could take as we all looked on while they sang “their song” to each other.  I broke down and just cried because it was such a testament to their love for each other and the success of their many years of marriage.  Just look at the passion on his face as he sings!  Their song was Your Song by Sir Elton John.

Wedding guests danced the night away to the performances of a fabulous band out of Little Rock.  I will have to post a link to them if I can get my hands on it!
