holy moly…

May 11, 2008

Can I just say that I LOVE doing senior shoots!  There is so much about portrait photography that I love.  Children are just wonderful to work with, because I can just watch them play and get the BEST shots of them just doing what they do.  Kids are so honest, they don’t know how to be fake (i do get the occasional “poser”, but they are a hoot to work with also) and it is so satisfying to capture them as they truly are.  Seniors, on the other hand, are VERY aware of themselves, you can tell them what to do (and they listen) and you can get results like this….

“N”, is (obviously) a gorgeous girl and she is even more beautiful on the inside than she is on the outside.  We had SOOO much fun on this shoot just laughing and being silly and running all over the place looking for new places to shoot.  This is probably the funnest (has it been determined if “funnest” is a word?) shoot that I have done so far.  THANKS “N” and “N’s momma” for coming over to play!

    Maggie,
Thanks for teasing me! The picture in front of the blue door is Fabulous!!!!! And the colors in the picture with the rust behind her are great too. I am drooling with impatience to see the rest. I know N already looks great, now she will be able to see her greatness everyday because of your awesome talent and ability. Keep up the good work in Mena and HURRY home.LOL!
