Growing up…

April 24, 2008

Well, John and I are beginning to grow up a little bit.  We have been married for 6 years and have continued living like college students despite the fact that we have jobs and 2 kids.  I don’t expect that we will give up that lifestyle (at least at heart) for the most part, but at least we have grown up bedding on our bed now and a picture on the wall to boot! LOL  This is our first real grown up bedding since we have been married.  Everything else we have had on our bed has been mismatched stuff that we have made work.  We still haven’t bought furniture for our room (the nightstands were John’s when he was a kid) but we are taking steps in that direction. FINALLY.

I certainly can’t complain about our funishings throughout the house.  We have lots of great furniture that has been given to us by our AWESOME family and friends through the years.  Seriously, the only furniture that we have purchased in our six years has been an arm chair and a desk.  We lack for nothing and I am so thankful for that!  However, as we are paying off more and more debt, I am looking forward to gradually adding more “grown up” things to our house, starting with my dream bedroom furnishings!

ALSO, for my photog friends, check out that 100% crop of the pillows at ISO 1000, handheld at 1/20!!!  The noise is sooo low! I am so loving this camera.  (NIkon D300)
